COVID Policy

After careful consideration of CDC guidance, federal/state/local COVID-19 regulations, the Summit will enforce the following:

  • Vaccinated attendees:
    • Masking is not required.
    • Proof of vaccination status is not required.
    • Wear a mask based on your personal preference, informed by your personal level of risk.
  • Unvaccinated attendees:
    • Masking is not required.
    • We request that unvaccinated attendees wear a mask.
  • We request all attendees to:
    • Respect those who are practicing social distancing and masking.
    • Stay home if you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
  • If you need a mask, the Summit registration desk will have extras available.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue.

By attending the Symposium:

  • You acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume all risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death to you or those with whom you come into close contact. 
  • You further acknowledge and agree to accept sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, to you or those with whom you come into close contact (including your household members) (“Claims”). You hereby release, indemnify, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless FTCC/NCMBC and other Summit hosts, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from any Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. 
  • You further understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of FTCC/NCMBC, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in this event.
